Michael, a Southern Maine native, served 13 years in the U.S. Army before transitioning to the Army National Guard. He earned his bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law. Michael has practiced law in Maine and New Hampshire, and currently serves as a Judge Advocate for the New Hampshire Army National Guard, focusing on Administrative Law and Estate Planning for Service Members.
Throughout my years practicing various areas of law, one thing became abundantly clear: those with more money often have a distinct legal advantage. It seems the law has shifted to favor those who can afford high-quality representation. Large law firms, or "Big Law," have increasingly focused on profit generation rather than ensuring access to quality legal services for everyday people who need it most. This shift has, in my view, compromised the true spirit of justice. That’s why I founded NorthCoast Law—to bridge the gap between the high costs of Big Law and the legal needs of everyday people facing real-life challenges. My mission is to provide exceptional legal services at more affordable rates, because justice should be accessible to all.
